Formula G is a solar powered vehicle race held in our country between 2005 and 2014, which is one of the few examples in the world. Istanbul Park F1 Track, Ankara Hippodrome, İzmir Ülkü Race Track and Körfez Race Track were hosted by the races respectively.
These races took place in 10 years with the participation of 21 different universities. Through tubitak Formula G races the industrial applications about solar systems acceraleted. This race also gave vision to students. So, organization intend to educate young engineers these can lead to prove solar systems and they should be expert on the topic. Then according to successes we can say that organization reached the goal. The organization also raised awareness that alternative energies are necessary and possible in the society.
