Solaris*
Team Solaris is a community of academicians, young
investors and researchers from undergraduate to Ph.D. level, who
gathered around the idea of designing/creating a car powered by
solar energy and who are motivated by FormulaG, solar car race
organized by Bilim ve Teknik Periodical (also TUBITAK- Turkish
Science and Technology Research Society) which will be held on
August 30th 2005, just after the official opening of Formula 1
Circuit in Istanbul.
Through this site, we aim to share the gained knowledge and
experiences so any team can improve itself to make better designs of
solar cars and to give current information to those who feel like
witnessing these developments. Our visitors� inspiration, opinions
and ideas about the development of such applications powered by
regenerative energy resources or any ideas from those who pioneered
this technology would be greatly appreciated at any stage of the
construction of this site.
